“Johnathan goes above and beyond offering strategic input, as well as tactical execution. … Honestly cannot recommend highly enough.”
The first decision was about the investment.
The brief came with a long list of features. Before estimating the full build, I wanted to know which parts customers would actually use.
I told them I did not think they should pay me to build the full scope yet. The bigger question was what customers would actually value. We needed to test that before making a larger investment.
A lean approach to the first release.
We took a lean approach: build a minimum viable product, put it in front of customers and use what we learned to decide what to develop next.
I built and launched the first version, with a way for users to share what they needed next. Once it was in use, I refined access, emails and search in response to feedback and day to day use.
A long term development partnership.
The focused launch saved the client thousands and put a working portal in front of real users. They committed to a paid twelve month retainer, bringing me in as their ongoing development partner.
That is the kind of relationship I want to build: honest advice, useful delivery and trust that lasts beyond the first project.

I’m Johnathan. I help businesses make sensible software decisions, then do the work to carry them through.
